St Breward’s historic church is on the doorstep and photogenic Blisland (3.5 miles) has a village green and pub renowned for its range of local ales. For sea and sand, head to picturesque Port Isaac (9 miles). The fishing village, seen in the popular TV series Doc Martin, has great places to eat and wonderful clifftop walks. Trebarwith Strand (8.5 miles), popular with surfers, has a large sandy beach and lifeguards on patrol in summer.
