Try your hand at surfing on Summerleaze, lay back and soak up the British summer sun, swim in the tidal sea pool or enjoy exclusive use of the owner's beach hut. Bude also offers Ten Pin bowling, an indoor leisure pool, golf course, tennis courts, boating canal and historic sea lock. Other attractions in the area include Hartland Abbey, Launceston Steam Railway, Clovelly, with its steep, traffic free cobbled streets and family attractions including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep. Alternatively head further afield to explore the historic coastal resort of Tintagel, home of the legend of King Arthur, or head to the fishing villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac and Padstow.

By prior arrangement with the owner, children can even help out on the farm by collecting the eggs from the free range hens or can help to feed the calves.
