Seasalter is a pretty seaside village in East Kent, well-known in the area for its fantastic gastropub which is a short walk from the property, perfect if you prefer to eat out rather than spend time cooking whilst on holiday. There are even more excellent restaurants in the nearby town of Whitstable, which is particularly well-known for its oysters. You may choose to simply spend time on the beach, either the local one in front of the house or perhaps make your way to Whitstable, where you can take the opportunity to enjoy the local shops, bars, cafes and restaurants or try out a number of water sports. Or why not drive, or take the bus, to nearby Canterbury, where a treasure trove of shops sits under the shadow of the city’s historic cathedral.
On arrival at the property, you will find yourselves in the spacious and well-designed open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There is a comfortable seating area with a Smart TV and DVD and Blu-ray player and there is also a second seating area in front of the gas effect log burner fire, perfect for those cosy, chilly nights. The Blue Beach House provides many ways to enjoy the amazing panoramic sea views that this property has to offer. You will also find a well-equipped modern kitchen offering all the facilities that you might need, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also a dining area where you might enjoy a meal together or just sit and soak up the views. The first of the property’s two bedrooms is a pleasant double room, finished with an attractive maritime theme, whilst the second bedroom is a cosy bunk bedroom. Finally, the bathroom offers a bath, separate shower, and WC.
Bi-folding doors span the width of the whole beach house and they can be opened fully to take in the fresh sea air and make the most of the breath-taking views. Beyond the bi-folding doors is a large deck with a table and chairs and wooden lounge chairs where you can relax and soak up some sun. Several steps lead from the decking down to the wild coastal grassed area where chairs sit gathered around a warming fire pit, providing a fantastic space to sit in the evenings and take in the beautiful surroundings, birdlife and glorious sunsets. The part of the beach beyond the garden and up to the average high tide level, belongs to the Blue Beach House so stepping off the end of the garden you have, in effect, your own slice of beach to enjoy. There is private parking for two cars available.
