A delightfully converted barn in a secluded location, it is the perfect for a tranquil getaway for a couple, with easy access to explore the Cornish coast and countryside. There are opportunities for pony trekking, horse riding, walking and cycling, and the Camel Trail can be accessed at the bottom of the lane. Bodmin Moor (9.5 miles), Tintagel (11 miles), Backways Cove (10.5 miles) and Pencarrow House and Garden (9.5 miles) are all nearby and perfect for interesting days out.

This romantic and cosy cottage is stylishly furnished, has spacious rooms and is also eco-friendly. There's an eye-catching wood burner stove in the living room for the cooler months and the kitchen has everything you need. On the first floor there is a super king-size bedroom with French doors to a bridge leading to the garden, and a bathroom with a shower and WC.

The large, enclosed garden with an attractive lawned area and seating is an ideal dining space in good weather.

Bens Barn is outstanding. Exactly as described. So comfortable. Especially the bed. The bathroom is huge and comfortable to use. Small noggles for us (may not effect others) is having no access for the dogs to the garden. You have to go up 3 steepish steps then a grass bank which after the rain felt a bit unnerving, especially in the dark at night.Read more I also like to sleep with a window open but as it is a door that is not possible. Would not stop us going again but the info may be useful to others. Hide

Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a quiet and rural surrounding. Provided with a large enclosed private garden ideal for a dog off leash as well. Spotless inside and out. Friendly and helpful host taking care of everything. Highly recommended.

A cosy, comfortable, well maintained and thoughtfully designed cottage, which exceeded our expectations. The property was scrupulously clean, lovely large bathroom and extremely comfortable expansive bed. The lounge was rather dark (small.windows) but this did not bother us! Enclosed garden, again well-maintained; no direct access for the dogs to Read morethe garden. This is a minor comment, not an issue. We had a lovely stay, thank you to the owners. Hide

We enjoyed a really relaxing week in Bens Barn at the farm. Accommodation was excellent with good facilities, well furnished and comfy bed. Lovely private garden with secure boundaries for dog owners. Well placed in Cornwall for both coasts. Good local pubs within a short drive.

Great cottage ..a bit dark inside , but it was a barn so not surprising being dark downstairs . Bedroom was incredibly large and the bathroom , especially the shower cubicle was so big you could get lost in there !!! Fantastic idea of having a walkway from the bedroom to the higher law area ..

What a delightful cottage. Spotless and comfortable. If you want peace and quiet its perfect. Lovely host too. We plan to return next year with friends. Location is also great for most attractions.

Bens Barn was out of this world, Each room was very spacious. Lovely kitchen with everything you need living room comfortable with large TV and free WIFI. Upstairs the bedroom was beautiful with a very large bed and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with a large shower and a free-standing bath which I used every day. The garden area wRead moreas also massive brilliant for our 2 dogs with a seating area ideal for barbecuing. I have raved about this cottage to family and friends and its definitely worth a look and stay here. We loved our week here and definitely will return. Hide

We have been visiting Ben's Barn 2 or 3 times a year since 2014. Perfect tranquility, wonderful hosts and a comfortable cottage to relax in. Ben's Barn is almost our second home. Truly wonderful accommodation.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in. It had everything you needed and more! Lots of cupboard space in the kitchen as well as ample fridge and freezer space. Plenty of wardrobes too! This property is all you'll need for an excellent get away from it all holiday. Cottage is spotlessly clean & has everything you need, comfortable & well situated in a quiet location but close by to all amenities & only a short drive to the stunning North Cornish Coastline. We have already booked our return & are planning the one after that.

This property was first class. The owners have gone above and beyond with the cottages. The kitchen had everything you need. Lovely big comfortable bed. Lights in the wardrobes and a huge bathroom. Big secure enclosed garden for dogs.Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Excellent property for dog lovers our dog hetty loved the garden to play in, also the use of the field to give her a good run off lead an added bonus. Loved the bathroom especially the bath after long walks. Plenty of choice of TV channels to while away an evening if you so chose to stay in after a busy day out and about. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. A nice place to stay with good facilities and very clean. Our doggy was happy with her own garden. You can go for a walk on the coastpath or go to the Moors. It is all very nearby. A top place!!

We were made very welcome by the owners. There was a specially prepared field for dog walks. The Cottage was convenient for all the top tourist spots and more. The surrounding villages had very good local shops and Pubs with great food. We were very comfortable and loved having our own secluded garden with BBQ. Definitely recommend Bens Barn.

The barn was roomier than it looked, especially the bathroom! The kitchen had everything you needed and had a beautiful, safe, enclosed garden for our dog. Sophy checked in with us and was always around to answer questions. Loved our stay. Thank you.
