Explore the spectacular caves of Wookey Hole (2 miles) or the breathtaking scenery of Cheddar Gorge (10 miles). Other places of interest include the historic city of Bath (20 miles) and discount shopping at Clarks Village (7.5 miles). There is also a good selection of National Trust properties to visit within an hour's drive. On the North side of the city, you will find the Mendip Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, criss-crossed by numerous footpaths, including the West Mendip Way and the Monarch's Way.
