Experience the charm of this delightful dog-friendly property, nestled within the serene Welsh countryside. This idyllic retreat boasts its very own doggy paddock, providing ample space for your dogs to frolic freely. Situated amidst 6 acres of communal grounds in a privately owned hamlet of cottages, once part of a larger estate tended by monks in years gone by, the property holds a rich history. Embark on adventures exploring the picturesque landscapes and captivating coastlines of Wales. Just a scenic 11-mile drive away lies Aberaeron, where a quaint harbour and an array of dining options await, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration for your getaway.

Enter the front door of this quaint Welsh slate and stone cottage into a stylish, open-plan lounge diner. Sink into the comfort of cushy sofas beside a warming wood burner. The lounge is separated from the dining area with an archway, and this room is adorned with a handmade rustic table and benches, complemented by a beautiful Welsh dresser. Handcrafted free-standing units exude vintage charm, leading into a well-equipped kitchen featuring an electric range oven. Next to the kitchen, a utility area offers space for hanging coats and washing dog bowls. Next, there are three bedrooms, a super-king-size, a king-size, and a twin bedroom, all furnished with handmade wooden beds and quality mattresses. Also, there is a shower room with a walk-in shower with WC, alongside a separate bathroom featuring a free-standing bath, overhead shower and WC.

Through French doors off the dining area, you find an enclosed private patio, complete with a large BBQ (gas and coal) and a wood-fired hot tub, ideal for unwinding after a day of coastal exploration. Beyond the patio lies your own small paddock area, slightly sloping yet perfect for pets to roam freely. Additionally, the cottage shares 6 acres of grounds with other guests, featuring a charming bridge leading to a tranquil picnic area by the river.

This was an absolutely beautiful cottage. It had everything that we needed and was so peaceful yet close enough to Aberystwyth a New Quay. The hot tub was a massive hit with the family.

Absolutely beautiful and well appointed cottage. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus to use at the end of a busy day of walking. The most dog friend cottage we have ever stayed at.

A comfortable, spacious and fully equipped cottage finished to a very high standard and with great attention to detail whilst the enclosed outside paddock was an ideal space for a high energy dog to play and run in. The personalised welcome pack of some basics and local treats was a very nice touch and very welcome after lengthy journeys to get thRead moreere. The location is remote but getting supplies is easy (10 mins by car to Lampeter). Overall, a great place to escape to and have as a base to explore this part of Wales. Hide

The cottage is stunning and has been finished to a very high standard. The location is beautiful and the perfect place to escape, with only sounds from birds in trees and animals grazing in fields. Mark and Jade were very welcoming.
