One of four barns set on the owner’s farm, a perfect base for couples, friends or families. Enjoy unsurpassed sea views, clifftop walks, cycling, or fun on the beach. The barns have been well thought out to offer the perfect getaway, being just 3 miles from the golden sands at Westward Ho!. Explore stunning beaches, quaint villages, and unparalleled scenery. The area boasts a variety of excellent walks both coastal and rural. Join the South West Coast Path, or cycle the carefree Tarka Trail which meanders through some of the best scenery in the country. Family attractions in the area include the nearby Big Sheep (1 mile) and The Milky Way (7 miles). A little further afield is the unique village of Clovelly (10 miles) or the beautiful gardens of RHS Rosemoor (11 miles). Also within the local area is the estuary village of Instow (6 miles) with its dog-friendly beach, shops, bars, restaurants and yacht club.

On entering the barn guests will find themselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Stylish in design, the lounge area has a Smart TV, comfy seating as well as dining space for four, and a range of equipment in the kitchen area to cook up a scrumptious meal. There are two bedrooms, each one having a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made into twin beds if required. Each bedroom also has its own stylish en-suite shower room to wash away the sandy days.

Stepping outside from the lounge you can relax in the enclosed garden with patio, lawn and charcoal BBQ. In the evenings this is a great spot to watch the sun go down and the freedom will be appreciated by your four-legged furry friend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day break at Boatlake Barn. The barn is very spacious, well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. It is situated in a delightful and peaceful location, with stunning views towards Hartland Point. We were lucky enough to see amazing sunsets on two days. The large enclosed garden was great for our friends' dog, Read moreto run off energy. After long walks from the door, along the coastal path, we enjoyed relaxing and all slept well in the most comfortable beds. Highly recommend the Thatcher's Inn in Abbotsham village,about 30 minutes stroll along the lanes. We would definitely like to return soon. Hide

Morden holiday cottage with stunning views. Close drive to beautiful sandy beaches and very dog friendly, enclosed garden and an outside tap to wash paws!

We stayed in Boatlake Barn and had a lovely week. The cottage itself was beautiful and clean with fantastic views across the fields to the sea and coastline beyond. The garden area has a BBQ and is doggy safe. Both bedrooms are large with big en-suites and low level large showers which was ideal for my elderly father who was with us. The kitchen isRead more well stocked with cooking equipment and cutlery and the open plan kitchen and living area is spacious. There were even dog blankets and food bowls provided and a nice welcome hamper. There is a good size parking area and access to the coastal path is just a couple of minutes walk from the door. There is plenty to do close by and a good, dog friendly pub in the village of Abbotsham which was about a 25 minute walk away. We all agreed this was one of the best cottages weve stayed in! Hide

Absolutely beautiful fabulous accomplishment the converted barns are lovely with added little touches that go a long way with complimentary hamper, kitted out for dogs with blankets bed Bowles even poop bags !! The converted barns are in a little cul de sac very picturesque with easy access from the guest car park. The accommodation is beautifullyRead more decorated and tastefully finished with views of rolling fields and the sea its so peaceful and relaxing. The coastline and walks are breathtaking. Its a little remote but this adds to the charm. The dogs absolutely loved it as did we especially watching the sunrise and sunset over the sea not forgetting the two hares that danced in the field Hide

Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views and peaceful haven. Kindest of owners. Central to coastal walks and surrounding places to visit and also to a number of beaches. Local pub / restaurant food extremely good and service good. A special place to stay. ( Guests please respect and look after it).
