Nestled amidst the Mendip hills, the village of Badgworth is an ideal base for a relaxing break. This picturesque area blends both rolling countryside with the charm of the coast. Within a 23-mile radius, you'll find many attractions, including the awe-inspiring Cheddar Gorge, historic city of Wells, the culturally rich cities of Bath and Bristol, the eclectic town of Glastonbury, Weston-Super-Mare, and Blagdon Lake, where you can go fishing. For those seeking a taste of local craftsmanship, an on-site micro-brewery and tap room await, open on several evenings throughout the week, offering the chance to sample artisanal beers. https://homefarmbadgworth.com/brewhouse  An abundance of scenic walking routes and convenient road connections ensure that your stay in Badgworth is both peaceful and accessible.

One of a complex of four adjoining properties, a private entrance door opens into this welcoming property. Once inside you’ll find a fabulous open-plan living space, cleverly divided to create a stylish kitchen area, lounge space with wood burner and Smart TV, plus room to dine just opposite. With exposed stone walls to admire, you can relax in comfort in this sociable room. On the first floor there are two bedrooms to choose from, one king-size room and one twin room (can be made up as a king-size on request). Completing the property are two contemporary shower rooms. Due to the setting within the eaves there are some areas of restricted head height within the first floor, which only adds to its character and charm.

Doors open from the lounge into the enclosed garden with patio, lawn, garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. The perfect place to enjoy dining al fresco or relax with a sundowner.

Exceptional property - very comfortable and well-equipped. Good location as a base from which to explore the surrounding area with easy access into the village. The fabulous homemade dessert from the owner which was there on arrival was a lovely touch! Highly recommended and will certainly return when in the UK and in the area.

Lovely cosy cottage with everything required for self catering in a peaceful rural setting. There are so many beautiful places to visit within a short drive, great beaches & countryside for dog walking. Lots of good restaurants if you dont want to cook. The micro brewery was a great amenity on the doorstep.

Cottage was immaculate and well equipped and is set in a very peaceful rural location within a short drive of many attractions in the area, such as Bath, Bristol, Wells, Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-sea and Glastonbury. Love this part of the country and would visit again and would happily stay in the same cottage again.

The cottage is neat and tidy , pretty well equipped. Our main problem was the size of the bedroom and showerooms. In one bedroom you can only get out on one side the other there is virtually no room either side. They shower room upstairs was far too small for us to use so we had to use the downstairs, but again , the room was so cramped we had toRead more go upstairs to shave. Hide

We had the most wonderful weekend at The Stables Cottage. Owner made everything easy and welcoming, leaving us fresh cake on check in was a lovely touch! We also went to the Brewhouse for a drink on our first night and it was charming to see the local community coming together. Wed love to come back some time!
