Book a break away with your significant other in this unique, one-bedroom cottage situated metres from Fowey’s attractions. The town’s quaint harbour, a yacht club, Fowey Landing (for ferries across to Polruan’s castle and inns) and several bars and restaurants are within half a mile of the property. Travel a mile and a half south of the cottage and you’ll take in the pretty beach of Readymoney Cove that’s ideal for a gentle dip, the 16th-century ruins of St Catherine’s Castle, Fowey’s majestic Lighthouse and the National Trust’s Fowey Estuary estate, which backs onto the South West Coast Path. Meander just over half a mile further west from here and you’ll reach Blackmore Beach and Polridmouth Cove.

On entering the property, a hallway leads to the king-size bedroom, accompanied by an en-suite with a walk-in double-size rainfall shower. Also on the ground floor is an understairs cupboard with a washer/dryer that allows laundry to be contained away from the living space. From here, the staircase leads up to the open-plan living area, with a sofa, quirky easy chairs, industrial-style lighting and a dining set for two. This is complemented by a high-end bespoke fitted kitchen, multiple windows allowing light to flood in and a vaulted apex ceiling, with rustic wooden beams. The room enjoys pretty views across the town and estuary and the interior has underfloor heating throughout.

In front of the main door, a spacious terrace is enclosed by walls and a metal gate. Furnished with wooden seating and a low table, it provides space to relax with a book, or eat a light meal and take in the sunshine.

An excellent cottage. Small but perfectly good for a couple. Parking an added bonus. Would have been tight to park if bays were full.

The Dolls House is ideally located in Fowey, close to the town amenities but far enough away to provide a tranquil setting away from the hubbub of high summer. Its comfortable with some lovely views of the estuary and well equipped to a high specification. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely comfy cottage, spotlessly clean and in a good location for accessing the town centre. Parking outside the front door is a bonus and we would definitely stay again and recommend.

The Doll's House is a clean, spacious, modern upside-down cottage, perfect for any couple who are fit enough to enjoy the walk back up from town (it took us 2 minutes to walk down and 10 to walk back!). The front of the cottage faces towards Place, the church and the estuary with good views and has a quiet, sunny outside seating area. Dolls House cottage is a lovely place to stay in Fowey. There are lots of great places to visit in Fowey and in the area. We visited the nearby places of Charleston, Looe, Mevagissey, Polruan and Falmouth which were all real highlights. The house is close enough to town to walk to go to the shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is a lovely placeRead more which is nicely decorated and it is a real bonus that it has its own parking space. The shower was fab (just needed to be far more private with a blind). Would definitely recommend staying at the cottage but be mindful that its at the top of a hill so walking back might not be easy for those who are less active. Hide

This property was well situated at the top of Fowey, which is only a short distance to the harbour. The parking space is directly at the front of the property and is allocated. The facilities are to a high standard, bed is comfy as is the living quarters upstairs. All in all a very good property in a beautiful location.

This property in our honest opinion is a brilliant holiday apartment and we will be booking again for 2024, we did have one issue which was that the bed or the bedding which looked immaculate but smelt of sweat ? We also have one suggestion that we feel would make it more comfortable upstairs in the living room which would be to get another 2 seater sofa instead of the 2 chairs.
