This split-level seafront apartment is the ultimate couple’s bolthole in the lively seaside town of Torquay. Guests will be able to experience all of the delights of the English Riviera on their doorstep. The apartment building is situated in an elevated position high above the harbour and marina, so there are uninterrupted views out across the ocean, town and waterfront. Nothing is very far apart here, with the beach and the town amenities all within 0.5 miles. Visitors can wander along the pier, catch a show and dine out at any number of restaurants. There’s a relaxed atmosphere by day along the town centre streets lined with interesting shops and cafes. While by night the town comes alive with a varied nightlife to suit all tastes. There are beaches galore within easy reach and visitors can take boat trips or catch foot passenger ferries along the coast to Brixham or on to Dartmouth.

The stylish one-bedroom apartment is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The vista is the real star of the show here, with the living room, bedroom and a wide terrace all making the most of the expansive views. The cosy living room has a snug sofa with a Smart TV for evenings in and French doors open from there onto the patio. The kitchen is towards the rear of the apartment up a small flight of stairs and is fully equipped for putting together tasty meals for two and there is also a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and washer/dryer. There is also a chic bathroom on this level with rock face tiles, a long bathtub and a roomy walk-in shower. The comfortable double bedroom has doors onto the terrace and views out across the ocean.

The wide paved terrace with its comfortable outdoor easy chairs and table is a wonderful feature of the home. This is the place for relaxing with the papers on a weekend morning or enjoying sundowners as the lights of the town start to twinkle down below. Steps lead down from the terrace to the extensive shared gardens. There are walkways, pretty flowerbeds, shrubs and bench seating where guests can sit and admire the views. These gardens are shared with the other residents in the apartment building.
