Originally part of a pilchard press, this cute and welcoming property has been imaginatively updated and converted into a fantastic retreat for two guests. Overlooking a square with a cafe and craft shops, this delightful little escape is ideally situated in the heart of St Ives, with a wealth of great pubs and restaurants just around the corner. St Ives Harbour is just metres away, home to the beautiful Harbour Sands beach. The town’s other beaches, including Porthgwidden, Porthmeor and Bamaluz, are a stroll away. Keen art lovers can visit Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, birdwatchers can head to The Island, and walkers can explore Clodgy Point and Carbis Bay, both within 2 miles.

Open-tread stairs lead up to this charming first-floor apartment which makes a wonderfully cosy getaway in the heart of this thriving seaside town. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a great space for sitting back and unwinding in at the end of a memorable day and has plenty of windows and skylights allowing lots of natural light to stream in. Featuring a 32" Smart TV and plenty of seating, the tastefully decorated lounge provides an ideal spot to snuggle up and enjoy a favourite movie. There’s a cheery dining area over by the window, and the small but useful kitchenette has a range of handy equipment. At the end of the day, you can retire to the comfortable king-size bedroom which has plenty of storage space. The property also features a refreshing shower room.

Heading back outside, the immediate area features a range of pubs, gift shops, cafes and restaurants, with the beautiful harbourside beach less than 100 metres away.

The shower was good but a little snug and wouldnt be suitable if you were too tall. The decore was very quirky.Sometimes the one light by the property didnt always come on when it was dark so you did have to be very careful if you had been out.

It was charming, well equipped and clean. A note for owner: there is a slate hanging precariously right over the front door which could cause serious damage if it falls off onto someone's head. Another slate fell off the roof in front of the dog groomer next door. The gutters need cleaning out. When it rains it's like walking through a waterfall wRead morehen entering and exiting property.
