Discover this beautiful two-bedroom apartment on the seafront in Seahouses with spectacular views out to sea. It is just 400 metres from the golden sands of the beach, the busy working harbour, and the shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs in the centre of the village. Experience Sir David Attenborough’s favourite place to see nature in the UK – between March and October, you can take a boat trip to the nearby Farne Islands, home of a nationally important breeding colony of thousands of seabirds including puffins, and grey seals. Try a round of golf at the Seahouses Golf Club, 1 mile – a traditional links course in a wonderful setting next to the beautiful Annstead Coastal Reserve. Head up to Bamburgh, 3 miles, where you can visit the famous castle, England’s finest coastal fortress for over 1,400 years. Step through centuries of history reflected in its treasure-filled staterooms, the fabulous King’s Hall, and the armoury.

Enter the main building by way of a security-protected front door and take the set of 16 stairs to the first floor where the entrance to the apartment is located. Head through to the lounge and get your first views of the sea through the floor-to-ceiling corner window and double glass doors that lead out onto the front balcony. Relax on the comfortable seating for four guests, with a large sofa and winged chair, plus a coffee table, footstool, and Smart TV with Netflix. Next to the lounge, you will find the kitchen/diner with a dining table and four chairs, and double glass doors leading out to the rear balcony. Further along the hall are the two bedrooms, both with super-king-size beds that can also be used as twins on request. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, whilst the second bedroom has an en-suite shower room.

Outside, find two private balconies, both with tables and chairs. One is to the front of the apartment, accessed from the lounge, and has uninterrupted views out to sea and down to the busy harbour. The second is to the rear of the apartment and is accessed from the kitchen/dining room – perfect to enjoy the afternoon sun and the evening sunset.

We had a lovely week in this apartment, starting nice & early on Christmas Eve when we received a call from the Housekeeping Team at 2:30 to say that the apartment was now checked & ready for us to move in. We found the apartment to be nice and clean, welcomingly warm and very nicely appointed (once we'd worked out which additional button on the keRead moreypad to press to actually open the entrance door!) The views out to sea were stunning (helped my magnificent weather) and the convenient location so close to the village centre meant that food shopping & pub visiting was all in easy walking distance so the car only went out twice during our week. Although more expensive that the properties that we usually stay in we felt that with the advantages this apartment provided we still considered it to be good value for money and would certainly consider staying here again. Lovely apartment. Very clean and well equipped, heating very welcome in mid-October. Off-road parking in the dedicated car park was a bonus. Well situated to visit many tourist locations. Apartment has wonderful views over the Farne islands.

Clean, spacious and well equipped apartment ideally situated for walking and close to the town of Seahouses but away from the crowds. A bit noisy at the front at times from the busy road.

Overall a lovely place to stay. Perfect position on edge of Seahouses, close to shops, pubs and restraunts. Apartment was clean and comfortable, although some areas looked a little tired. The apartment was lovely, it was great being on the first floor the views out of the windows were spectacular. We have stayed in another apartment on the same site and this encouraged us to return. Absolutely beautiful place to stay, very warm and cosy and the view is amazing. Also great location being very close to one of the busier little towns in the area so you can just nip out if there is anything you need whilst being quite central to a lot of local tourism favourites (i.e. Alnwick, Bamburgh, Berwick & Cragside etc).

Fantastic apartment, very clean with everything you need available. Great service from Original Cottages - We requested a non-slip mat for the bathroom & it was delivered to us that same morning. Location of apartment could not be bettered, view of the sea & Farne Islands was beautiful. Would certainly recommend to friends & family.

This is our third stay in this lovely property which is well equipped and ideally located for the Northumberland coast.The view is of course exceptional. We will no doubt be back again.

We had a great time overall. This was our third stay at 7 Seafield. Unusually, the cleanliness of the carpets on this occasion was a little disappointing. The previous holidaymakers must have had a dog because the carpet was covered in dog hairs which we ended up having to brush up on two occasions (the vacuum cleaner was not effective). It didnt sRead morepoil our overall holiday but the apartment on this occasion wasnt up to its normally very high standard Im afraid. Hide

This property is in an excellent position with superb views over the sea and could be perfect but we encountered a number of issues (visitors book reflected the same issues for over a year) - apt was in disarray when we arrived, it hadnt been cleaned and was how the previous occupant had left it - cleaners arrived and took 30 mins to overhaul theRead more apt, surface cleaning only and beds made up...not what youd expect. Throws that were on the floor when we arrived were neatly folded and put back on sofas and beds,,,, - sofa and sofa cushions have a strong odour and are in need of a clean - we had to purchase bin bags, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid,dishcloth antibacterial spray to clean. Basics were not provided - we were left two heavily soiled tea towels -extractor fans in both ensuites do not work - balconies were covered in green mould Hide

Excellent location, we have stayed before. Has everything we need and love to be able to utilise both balconies. This time the cleanliness was not as good as our previous stay. The dishwasher was full whe we arrived, there was clumps of dust so we v mopped it and uncovered lots more from under the table so we decided to hoover but the hoover would Read morenot pick up as it was full (so we emptied it) then hoovered. A cupboard shelf was full of crumbs so I used wipes in the kitchen before we unpacked! Windows need a clean inside! I appreciate some of this may have been previous residents who didnt clean up after themselves or out the dishwasher in but a quick check is needed, especially since Covid you now have 6 hours between change over. No excuses. Nevertheless, I am being picky as a clean property is everything, the apartment is excellent, great views, great base, has all the equipment you need, loved the boxes of useful items to use and the coffee, tea and milk so would definitely stay again and recommend to others. For you awareness, you could do with better functioning extractor fans in both bathrooms (as mentioned numerous times in the visitors visitors book) as it is hard to clear the steamy bathrooms without leaving windows wide open. Oh and a new shower head in the first bedroom as all the nozzles are clogged. The advice on the sheet in the room about bedding/ towels does not match the information you text us before departure and needs updating. Addressing the latter would make it a 100% from us. Hide

Superb location central to most major tourist attractions. The upper deck flat gave a fantastic view of the sea and the coast all the way from Seahouses to Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne Castle!. THE LOCATION AND VIEW FROM THE LIVING ROOM WINDOW ARE WONDERFUL. THERE WERE SOME ITEMS MISSING BUT AFTER A PHONE CALL THESE WERE TAKEN CARE. Great position and view and the apartment was very light and airy. We just felt that general maintenance wasnt being done - e.g. the washing machine soap drawer and filters need cleaning as does the dishwasher filters; the oven light was broken when we got there and your office did sort it quickly, but just little things werent quite right.

The wardrobe in the back bedroom was broken as was the tap in the en-suite. The table in the kitchen had obviously not been moves as there were crumbs etc behind the table.

When we arrived at the property the heating wasnt on and the fridge/freezer was off and had defrosted over the kitchen floor. The flat was cold and considering it was one of the coldest times a little warm would have been appreciate, the flat felt chilled and unaired. The bed in the double room needs a new mattress, very uncomfortable.
