This splendid, single-storey lodge is situated close to a magnificent stretch of coastline and is ideal for couples looking for a peaceful holiday. A perfect base from which to explore the North Wales coast, it is less than 1 mile from a long sandy beach. The train station in the village of Tal-y-bont is also only 1 mile away. For walkers, the Wales Coast Path is right on the doorstep and the seaside town of Barmouth, with its shops and restaurants, is 4.5 miles away. Alternatively, the historic Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site, and Llanfair Slate Caverns are 7 and 5 miles away respectively.

This welcoming property has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the panoramic mountain and sea views. The lodge features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The eye is drawn to the beautiful, exposed beams and striking oak floors. In the living room, there are plush suites for up to four people, a TV and an exposed stone fireplace with a wood burner effect electric fire. From the French doors in the living area you can enjoy views of the Rhinog Mountains, the Mawddach Estuary at Barmouth and Cader Idris. The kitchen has everything you need, and the window looks over to the Rhinog Mountains. The double bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a beautiful sea view. The lovely shower room can also be accessed via the cloakroom at the back of the property.

Make the most of the wonderful hot tub in the enclosed garden with a lawned area, patio, furniture, and a BBQ. The veranda is the perfect place to sit in the sun all day and a separate seating area, accessed by steps from the back terrace, offers uninterrupted views of the mountains and the sea. Fire up the outdoor wood burner and continue to sit out on clear, starry nights.

Very enjoyable stay. The lodge was lovely, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing. I would definitely recommend. We went in October and was lucky with the weather but I think the summer months would be beautiful. Snowdon railway and Ffestiniog railways definitely worth a visit.

We loved our stay at Enil Lodge. It was incredibly peaceful, well equipped and cosy. The outdoor seating and hot tub only added to our enjoyment. We loved the sheep across the road from the lodge and walking down to the beach for sunsets. A great stay!

The description of the lodge is pretty much spot on and we had a peaceful stay. Sadly, we were underwhelmed with the cleanliness of the lodge with all areas feeling grubby and in need of a good clean. The bedding and towels need replacing as well worn and old fashioned. The hot tub was great but a bit grubby. The place feels a little neglected Read moreand in need of some updating and TLC. Hide

The advertised photos do not do this holiday home justice. This is so much better than expected. We had a lovely peaceful time, here. It was comfy clean warm and well equipped. A beautiful location with only the sheep for neighbours. Just perfect

Lovely lodge in a beautiful location. Great facilities in the lodge itself, it was very clean and exactly as advertised. We visited in Feb (off season) so it was very quiet on the site - perfect for us. The beach is within walking distance and Barmouth is just up the road. Will definitely visit again! Thank you.

A lovely property in a stunning location. The lodge itself was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a great edition which we really enjoyed. No bath towels just 2 small towels so I would recommend bringing your own if you like a large towel. The Welcome pack was nice but no milk so bring your own for that important first cup of tea after a long jRead moreourney . The outdoor log burner/BBQ was great with plenty of logs provided. Barmouth is a lovely town with lots of small shops and cafes. So much to see and do in the local area, lots of leaflets available in the reception area of the main site. Property and all features, including hot tub, were great. It is a 20 minute walk through fields to the railway station, so we were able to leave the car and travel to places on the beautiful Cambrian Line on most days. We had the best Sunday lunch ever at the Nineteen 57 pub and restaurant, a 5 minute walk away.

The property is of high standard....lovely and warm as we went in January! Although on a holiday park it was secluded and out of the way of the main caravans. As it was January it was very quiet but this also meant alot of places were closed until February but not a problem to us as we wanted a quiet break. Very close to the beach for long walks anRead mored the most impressive sunsets Hide
