Head to Llyn Tegid (9.5 miles) in Bala, the largest natural lake in Wales, where you can participate in kayaking, windsurfing or paddleboarding. Travel 16 miles into Betws-y-Coed, known as 'The gateway to Snowdonia’, with a good selection of eateries, outdoor activity shops and independent shops. It is a great location to start exploring Snowdonia National Park, with cascading waterfalls, several mountains to climb, and incredible scenic views every way you turn.
Park the car and walk into the pretty garden, taking a moment to savour the lovely views. The porch has plenty of space for your outdoor attire before exploring this gorgeous cottage. The lounge has a comfortable sofa to relax on after a full day out, Smart TV to catch up on your favourites, and the wood burner for cosy nights in snuggled up on the sofa. If eating in with local produce purchased on your travels, the kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare a tasty meal, and when ready, go through to the dining table, the perfect setting for a romantic meal overlooking the garden.
