Further afield, make some time to wander through the countless trails of the North Pennines (18 miles) and experience the magnificent scenery of the area, or closer to home, drive over to the Yorkshire Dales National Park (4 miles) to marvel at the wonderful landscapes threaded throughout.

We had a lovely stay in Fushia cottage. It was very well stocked with all the equipment you will need. It was clean and tidy and plenty big enough for 4 adults and a dog. Lots of places to visit and take the dog out to walk.
