Enjoy an escape to this detached period grade II listed barn conversion, situated within the grounds of the owners’ home. Gorgeously designed keeping the characteristics of wood beams, vaulted ceiling, and open-planned feel, this property is full of luxury. It is a great base for dog walkers and hikers, bike rides and exploring across farmland and picturesque countryside. Take a short drive (2.5 miles) to the town on Bridgnorth where you will find plenty of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as markets and event days. Bridgnorth also boasts a cinema and theatre, elevated views, a gorgeous park, ancient town walls, the Severn Valley Railway, Bridgnorth Cliff Railway and Bridgnorth golf club. Adventure awaits at Weston Park (17.2 miles), where the woodland play area is a children's paradise, with play equipment for all ages. Take a ride on the Miniature Railway, get lost in the maze, or spot the deer. Visit Ironbridge (7.5 miles), the world heritage site home to Blists Hill. Shrewsbury and Ludlow are also well worth a visit and are both within 23 miles.

On arrival, step into the cottage-style lounge where you’ll be greeted by the snug sofas and wood burner. After a day out, relax in front of the burning fire, gather around the smart TV, or play cards and enjoy a good selection of board games. From here wander through to the spacious open-planned kitchen/diner with granite work surfaces and everything you need to rustle up a meal during your stay. Vaulted ceilings and large windows provide the perfect area to allow the sun to shine in. A convenient WC is also situated on the ground floor. When you're ready for bed, choose from one of the two sets of stairs leading to the bedrooms. The first will take you to the master king-size room with en-suite, including a traditional Georgian bathtub. The other staircase leads to a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Go outside through the large patio doors and discover a fully enclosed garden with seasonal flowers and lawns, seating, and a BBQ offering a peaceful place to relax and dine alfresco. The enclosed garden also has a gate leading to fields for all to enjoy. In the front courtyard there is a safe place to leave bikes.

Lovely peaceful barn in a great location for exploring Shropshire. Kitchen was very well-equipped, bed was comfortable, and loved the underfloor heating. Plenty of info available about nearby walks, and numerous pubs within 15 minutes drive. Garden looked as though it would be lovely in the summer

Frog Mill Barn is a super conversion and really well thought-out accomodation. It's in such a peaceful location, with lovley walks and lots of wildlife. We were lucky to have great weather so made the most of some of the local attractions, including Severn Valley Steam Railway, the museums at Ironbridge, and the charming Cliff Railway at BridgnorthRead more. It's a very pretty part of England and a week at Colemore Farm made it a very enjoyable holiday. Hide

A really lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. This place is highy recommended - it has eveything you need and manages simultaneously be in the middle of nowhere but also close to many of the best parts of Shropshire. The hostess lives next door and was very accommodating. Ten out of ten!

A wonderful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. Anna was very friendly and welcoming and gave us a really good insight about the local area. The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We look forward to staying again in the near future.
