This beautiful, converted barn offers guests a luxurious rural retreat in a serene setting within the idyllic Shropshire countryside. Enjoy miles of walking from the front along picturesque winding lanes which take you through historic hamlets and into the nearby rolling hills. Shropshire is renowned for its historic market towns and there is easy access to two of the most popular, Ludlow (4.4 miles) and Bridgnorth (16 miles). Ludlow is a Medieval town with lovely architecture and an impressive 11th-century Castle. Enjoy the popular market in the town square or visit one of the many independent pubs and restaurants. Across in Bridgnorth, the town is divided by the River Severn and offers riverside walks, a steam railway into the Severn Valley, and lots of traditional pubs. The UNESCO site at Ironbridge is 21 miles away, where you can visit one of the museums and enjoy a walk around the riverside town.

After a busy day exploring the beautiful local area, make your way back through the quiet country lanes to your beautiful rural bolthole. The converted barn has been designed to offer total comfort for you to be able to switch off and relax in a serene, picturesque setting. Head into the stylish and spacious open-plan living area which has been furnished to a high standard throughout. Enjoy a movie on the Smart TV whilst you sink into the comfortable sofa. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered holiday, ideal to make use of some of the fantastic local produce you will find at the Ludlow Farm shop. Enjoy a meal together at the dining table and plan your next day's activities. Head into the super-king-size bedroom and with the luxurious linen it is guaranteed to give you a good night’s sleep. The high standard continues into the en-suite with the lovely, large shower to start the day afresh.

Step outside and onto the patio area, designed to enjoy the uninterrupted countryside views whilst relaxing on the garden furniture, eating and drinking al fresco. Light up the BBQ and dine underneath the stars, which will be easy to spot from this rural location.

Use the Google Maps app to get there as it's spot on. The barn is beautiful, really warm and cosy yet modern. Lovely driveway and huge garden which I really appreciated and was perfect for my little dog to play in. The barn was great, and exactly as described. Only one problem: we followed the directions provided by Holiday Cottages UK, which were excellent until the final crossroads, where they told us to turn left when we should have turned right.

A lovely property which had everything we needed and was the perfect bolt hole for a relaxing week away. The bed was really comfortable and the enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs. The property is in a very rural setting, yet only 10 minutes from the wonderful town of Ludlow. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Loved the area and found it really nice. Again, the cottage was too hot inside, we had to keep the door and windows open to let the heat out. We also found the bathroom situation strange, the toilet on one side of the bedroom and the shower room on the other.
