Situated opposite the local golf course and surrounded by rolling green fields, tranquil woodlands, and meandering streams, it’s a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Explore the nearby New Forest National Park (2 miles), where there are a myriad of walks and cycle trails to explore that meander through quaint villages, with a stop at the local pub for refreshment. Hop in the car and visit the charming market town of Romsey (3 miles), with its stunning Abbey and independent shops and cafes. Slightly further afield are the bustling cities of Southampton (11 miles), home to vibrant shopping, dining, and cultural experiences, or Salisbury (15 miles) which offers a rich cultural history with Britain’s largest Cathedral and home to the best preserved original 1215 Magna Carta.

Step inside this charming property that has been recently renovated (July 2023) to an exceptionally high standard and offers reverse floor living to fully capture the views on offer. On entering the property, you will be welcomed into the hallway where there is space for storing coats and shoes and where you will find the king-size bedroom with views across to the countryside and lake beyond. What a beautiful holiday home! The accommodation was clean, comfortable and everything had been thought of. Gorgeous view of the lake. The hot tub could have been a little warmer.

This holiday property is a must. We had 3 nights at this property and did not want to go home. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and the location is fantastic

A stylish property with gorgeous lake views from the balcony, patio and bedroom. We were lucky enough to have good weather, so could enjoy sitting outside soaking in the peaceful surroundings, watching the geese on the lake and the horses in the next door field. A definite recommendation. We're already talking about a second stay.

This property is outstanding, everything seemed brand new and very modern, the level of equipment was excellent with top end appliances. Outside is just as impressive with French doors out onto the raised veranda then stairs down to the patio and hot tub overlooking the lake. It's position is just so peaceful yet only a few minutes drive into RomseRead morey. Very highly recommended. Thank you Peter and Megan for our wonderful week at the Potting Shed Hide
