This impressive two-storey property is set in a rural farm location and is ideal for a restful holiday for families or a group of friends who want to explore this delightful part of the Lake District and Cumbrian peninsula together. The pretty seaside town of Arnside is 2 miles away and Arnside Knott, also 2 miles, offers uninterrupted views of the Kent Estuary and Morecambe Bay. From your doorstep, you can walk to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve (2 miles). Alternatively, take the train from Arnside to the Edwardian town of Grange-over-Sands and try one of the tearooms. The edge of Lake Windermere at Newby Bridge is a 16.5-miles away. This property is the perfect place to get away and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

 Through the front door, arrive at the wonderful modern lounge/kitchen/diner which is the hub of the house and offers a traditional Lakeland feel. The kitchen is equipped for all your needs along with an electric fire and surrounding seating with Smart TV to enjoy whilst eating at the dining table complete with bench and chairs. Onto the first floor, we have two levels with a twin bedroom and a double room on this level along with the family bathroom. The large master bedroom with a super king size bed is up a few more steps. This bedroom can be converted into a twin on request. There is also a Smart TV in this bedroom.

Heading outside, there is a private area with seating and a further shared enclosed grounds to explore. Enjoy the courtyard, sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ and there is also an enclosed field nearby.

The Coach House was a wonderful place to stay. The owners were really kind and helpful and the grounds (with all the pet pigs, sheep, chickens and goat) were amazing to walk around. 10 out of 10 overall.

We had a wonderful short break at Brackenthwaite Cottages, the cottage was really well furnished and we all had a great night's sleep in the lovely bedrooms - so relaxing! The dog exercise field was brilliant for our lively pooch and he loved exploring and playing with our kids there. The cottages are ideally located near the lakes (circa 25 min drRead moreive to Windermere), and very straightforward to get to. I highly recommend this for families looking for a relaxing base near the Lake District. Hide

I booked this property for a long weekend with my husband, children, in laws and our dog. From the moment we arrived everything was perfection, there was personalised fresh ground coffee, some eggs from the chickens on the property and a lovely handwritten note. Everything was immaculate and in perfect condition, the atmosphere was so peaceful. DefRead moreinitely will be staying here again but for longer next time.
