Mam Tor and Castleton are both within 11 miles and the popular spa town of Buxton is an 8-mile trip. Not forgetting the pretty town of Bakewell situated just 8 miles away and Chatsworth House and Garden within 10 miles.
Walk through the pretty cottage front garden and into the porch where you can step through into the cosy sitting room with two comfortable armchairs, ideally situated in front of the wood burner – a lovely space to relax in during chillier weather. Pop something on the nearby TV with Freeview or just curl up with a good book. There is also a dining table in the lounge, a great place to come together and enjoy a celebration meal. The kitchen/diner offers everything you need to rustle up a delicious meal during your stay, including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a nearby dining table with bar stool seating. The kitchen leads out onto the rear courtyard. Upstairs, the cottage offers a king-size bedroom with lovely views over the village square. There is a bathroom with a bath, enclosed shower and WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard to the rear of the property, offering space to store bikes. There is a table and chairs along with a BBQ and chimenea for dining alfresco.
