Mountain bikers should take on the famous Taff Trail, which passes through the village and stretches to Cardiff in the south. For something a little more serene, discover the spectacular waterfalls at Blaen-y-Glyn (7.5 miles) and the large, picturesque reservoir at Talybont (3 miles), which is often teeming with migratory birds.
After a long and busy day, stock up on supplies at the shop in the village or sample local delights in one of the two village pubs. Enjoy the views across the valley before you step inside this beautifully finished lodge, finished to an exceptionally high standard, just perfect for couples wanting to get away and enjoy the countryside. The open plan living space has been well configured offering guests a cosy space to relax and unwind in front of the wood burning stove (first basket of logs included), for dining, a table, and chairs, and for the chef amongst you a bespoke built kitchen that is well-equipped to offer an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and washing machine.
