Romantic retreat on a tidal estuary in the coastal town of Porthmadog. Walk to the local pub, shops, harbour, and beach. In Snowdonia National Park, enjoy outdoor activities and visitor attractions close by.

In the heart of Porthmadog the architect designed sailors’ lodges sit on a tidal estuary, commanding fabulous waterside views. Enjoy watching the wildlife and boats bobbing about from the wharf. Walk into this pretty coastal town with a good selection of shops, pubs, and restaurants as well as the pretty harbour and the starting point of both the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, narrow-gauge steam trains for scenic journeys into the Snowdonia National Park. It’s a mile into Borth Y Gest with its sandy bay, eateries, and coastal path embracing the sea views. The world famous Portmeirion Italianate village is six miles away, home of the cult TV show "The Prisoner" and many special events. Activities on hand include swimming, sailing, surfing and canoeing, walking plus cycling opportunities.

On entering the stylish former sailors retreat you will find a single bedroom with plenty of space for your holiday attire. Continue along the hall to the master bedroom that boasts breath-taking estuary views, as well as a king sized bed. The contemporary shower room is also on this floor with a walk-in shower and WC. Upstairs you will find yourself in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner and superb balcony overlooking the estuary. The kitchen area has all the equipment you need to prepare delicious meals with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer, not forgetting the all-essential Nespresso coffee machine for the morning. When ready enjoy a meal together at the dining table, the perfect setting for a romantic evening watching the tide come in. After dinner relax on the sumptuous sofa, snuggle up and watch the Smart TV or open the doors and let the outside in.

Outside there is an enclosed decked balcony with furniture overlooking the estuary, perfect to enjoy the view from sunrise to sunset watching the wildlife and ebb of the tide. Parking for one car by the property.
