Nearby seaside resorts of Shanklin and Ventnor, both just 6 miles away will be the ideal spots to get your fair share of all of this and more. On your doorstep are also a wonderful array of walking and cycling routes with direct access to a network of footpaths including the Stenbury Trail and a wonderful walk along the River Yar.
Stepping up into the lodge will bring you into the long stylish hallway running through the home. Just inside the door are some useful cupboard and floor space which is perfect to drop off those muddy boots after a day exploring the island’s trails and there is also a small utility room with a washing machine. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is directly ahead of you. The kitchen here has everything you need including an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining table by the kitchen provides ample seating for all to sit together for some breakfast or even a nice evening meal together. Situated directly beside this area is the cosy lounge which really does speak for itself. There is a wood burner (first basket of logs provided) for cooler evenings, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV to enjoy your favourite films after a busy day exploring. On that sunnier day, open the bifold doors and let the sunshine and fresh air through. Making your way back down the hallway will bring you to the two bedrooms, one being a king size bedroom complete with an en suite shower room with a shower and WC, and the other with a set of twin single beds. Both rooms provide large wardrobe spaces. Completing the interior is the bathroom, containing a bath, separate shower and WC.
Making your way outside the property via the bi-fold doors or pathway at the front of the property will bring you to your spacious enclosed outdoor space. Enjoy the views far and wide across the rolling fields whilst making use of the BBQ, fire pit and outdoor seating, perfect for your four-pawed friend too. There is private parking for two cars provided.
