Set above Westward Ho! beach, on a family run, 60 acre, privately owned cliff-top estate, you’ll find this collection of beautifully thought-out cottages with incredible sea-views and rolling North Devon countryside surrounding you. Spacious cottages for families and intimate retreats for couples, the location provides a wonderful place to explore, relax and make holiday memories that will last forever. There is a range of facilities here for you to enjoy and all designed for your relaxation. From a play barn for the children and animals to pet and eggs to collect from the chickens to a Scandinavian BBQ hut for dining with amazing sunset views. A rustic barn opens its bar on warm summer nights and the star gazing here is some of the best in the county. Each cottage has private access through the grounds to the South West Coast Path and down onto Westward Ho! beach. Perfect for leaving the car behind and feeling the sand between your toes. Westward Ho! is a pretty village set in an Area of  Outstanding Natural Beauty and close by to the fishing villages of Appledore and Instow. Here you will find plenty to keep you amused and busy, from the ancient villages to secret coves and golden beaches. The local surf school offers lessons and wetsuit hire and the Tarka Trail is a traffic free cycle path taking in many beautiful sights. Amusement arcades, bespoke shops and cafés, crazy golf and restaurants, even the oldest link course in the country to try your hand, at The Royal North Devon Golf Club.  

Step inside this truly stunning property and into the generously proportioned open-plan living area. Here you can relax and enjoy the stunning views and each other’s company. The lounge area features French doors which open out onto the spacious lawn and patio area which is perfect for dining alfresco. For cooler nights, there are comfortable leather chesterfield sofas and a wood burner-effect electric fire set into a traditional inglenook fireplace; you can snuggle up with a book, a board game, or watch a DVD on the Smart TV. Royal Celerity was beautiful! Loved the hot tub and spa bath. Very comfortable and spacious and great views from the balcony. Lovely short walk into Westward Ho and the coast path too. Glad we chose this place for iur holiday. Highly recommend, thankyou.

We feel that the shower could do with a good clean as black mould on the bottom of the tiles. The plastic tiles around the bath lifting up very sharp. Step in the back garden is very loose. Need to clean the veranda upstairs has lots of moss.

Only one loo upstairs was odd in such a huge house. Plenty of room in the huge boiler/water heater room for a small WC/WHB & even a small lobby between WC & kitchen. Long way from garden to Loo especially when wet in the hot tub. Fridge stopped making ice in the last 48 hours oddly. Missed that. WC flush very poor needs adjusting. Lovely accommodation, everything you need. Good location to beach and other amenities. The hot tub was fabulous as was the jacuzzi bath. The doggy welcome pack was lovely, as was the cream tea, which was delicious.

Stayed a week at the beginning of July. The property and location were both stunning. The owners have thought of everything, it was so well equipped, super clean and our little spaniel loved it too. Would definitely recommend to all.
