Gorgeous apartment enjoying an excellent central position in St Ives. The ideal accommodation for a romantic getaway, with a plethora of bars, restaurants, museums and art galleries on the doorstep.

Positioned in the Downalong area of central St Ives, this apartment is well located for exploring the local area on foot. Renowned for its art galleries and museums which celebrate the area’s vibrant history, there is plenty to see and do within the town. St Ives boasts a range of eclectic bars and restaurants, whilst also offering beaches, shops, a harbour and plenty of coastal walks. The sandy beaches of Carbis Bay and Hayle are within 10 miles for a good day out. Located in a great spot to explore west Cornwall, you can find Land’s End 20 miles away, whilst the Lizard is 25 miles. The city of Truro is also a 25-mile drive away and offers host of attractions including a modern cathedral and unique shopping experiences.

A step up into the apartment brings you into the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The apartment has been arranged to make clever use of space, creating a cosy and comfortable base for two guests. The lounge area has an exposed stone wall and feature fireplace, the perfect spot to curl up on the sofa to enjoy a film on the Smart TV after a day exploring. Towards the back of the room is the dining area which houses the breakfast bar and two stools. The kitchen area provides a hob, fridge and combination microwave oven. Leading off the kitchen, the bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and an en-suite shower room with WC.

This apartment does have a small outside seating area from which to watch the world go by but St Ives offers beaches, coastal walks and a harbour all within 100 metres. Parking can be found in local car parks at an additional charge.

We stayed for a week at the cottage, here our impression: Positive: Very near to the harbour and the beaches, cute little cottage, two TVs and basic equipment. Negative: No possibility to air the bedroom (no working window), therefore mouldy smell, pieces from the stonewall come off, faucet in the kitchen makes loud noises when flushing the toilet,Read more not spotless clean (especially kitchen), bit unfriendly welcoming text which references to covid as a reason to basic clean (otherwise cleaning fee). Superb apartment The best weve stayed in at St ives for the two of us and the dog ! Brilliantly designed with everything you need Perfect position too, a few minutes from Porthgwidden and a lovely 5 min walk to Porthmeor Spotlessly clean and bathrobes and towels very good quality Loved it and hope to be back soon

Positives - great location, comfy bed and fab shower. Negatives- limited cooking facilities and lack of storage. This cottage would be ideal for people who intend to eat out every day . We enjoyed the outside seating area and appreciated the bathrobes and the short walk to the beach!

Comfortable, perfect for a couple. Lovely and quiet road. Negatively, there were lots of ants by the front door.

Absolute little gem I have been coming St Ives for years since I was little this flat is in the best location. The queen bed is so comfortable and the shower amazing. So modern with a Lovley huge wardrobe for storage !!!! Love how the kitchenette has been designed with everything you need. Another plus the two huge TVs in each room with google playRead more def recommend thankyou so much will stay again perfect for 2. ­­­­­ Hide
