Visit Grey Mares Tail mesmerising waterfall plunging 60m from Loch Skeen to the valley bottom. Splendid St Marys loch where you can enjoy water sports including Paddle boarding, Kayaking and Sailing. Explore the Devils Beef Tub or enjoy a trip to the tranquil Samye Ling Buddhist Centre at Eskdalemuir. Moffat is also close by with its array of bespoke and quirky shops, inns, numerous eateries, coffee shops, a museum, 18-hole golf course and the beautiful station park, with boating lake and putting green.

Step inside the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a comfortable sofa where you can relax after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and admire the wonderful views or enjoy a great movie on the Smart TV. The bespoke kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. There is also a lovely dining area to enjoy romantic meals whilst admiring the stunning scenery. The bedroom has a lovely double bed and fantastic views over the beautiful mature gardens towards the beautiful rolling hills. Venturing up the built-in steep ladder (care to be taken) you are met  with the mezzanine floor with seating area. Completing the wonderful accommodation is the stylish shower room with shower and WC.

Venturing outside there is a seating area located directly in front of the lodge and a large, decked area with bench and table with chairs and a parasol. The ideal spot to enjoy al fresco dining or lazy evening star gazing. There is also a beautiful enclosed shared garden and an enclosed orchard where guests are welcomed to pick the lovely pears, apples, redcurrants and raspberries. There is secure bike storage and off-road parking available for two cars. Please note this property has a private water supply.

The property was easy to find,Ian and Pam were lovely. Access to the orchard for our dog was really good, a nice enclosed space to safely play ball was much appreciated.
