Cosy shepherd’s hut situated near Cornwall's north coast and the fabulous villages of Rock and Padstow, with a local pub within walking distance. An ideal romantic retreat or bolthole.

The village of Chapel Amble is located just inland from Cornwall’s north coast and near to the fabulous beaches of Rock and the surfing mecca that is Polzeath. It’s also only a short drive from the towns of Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series Doc Martin, and Padstow, a renowned foodie’s paradise with some of the county's finest restaurants. Wadebridge, which adjoins Egloshayle, is a great shopping town with fine individual boutiques, while the cathedral city of Truro, Cornwall’s capital, is also worth a visit. The property is in an ideal location for cyclists and walkers, with the scenic Camel Trail running nearby. Attractions in the area include National Trust properties, Bodmin Steam Railway, Heligan Gardens, The Eden Project and many fabulous beaches like Bedruthan Steps and Watergate Bay.

 Positioned next to the owner’s residence, step inside via the three steps into this beautiful shepherd's hut. You’ll find yourself in the perfectly designed and comfortable living and sleeping area which boasts a wood burner to snuggle up beside on chilly nights. It’s the perfect space for relaxing after a day of exploring. At the end of the day, retire to the king-size bed which forms part of this compact yet perfectly appointed space. The little kitchen is also beautifully presented and offers a two-ring electric hob and a fridge. Completing the inside is an en-suite shower and WC, making for a comfortable stay in this beautifully rustic environment.

Pop on a dressing gown (provided) and head outside to the secluded hot tub, through the wooded walkway, for some further relaxation among the trees and farmland. Completely enclosed, you’ll also find a lovely patio area with a firepit, garden furniture and a relaxing day bed. Sit back and enjoy your tranquil surroundings - you may even see some woodpeckers. There is driveway parking for two cars.

Everything was absolutely spotless. We are travel very often for short breaks and usually I'm preparing everything, from salt and paper to hand towels and ,bin bags etc.,but in this place was everything and more that you can expect. Lovely cosy Shepherds hut. The Shepherds Hut is a cosy and welcoming little hideaway. For us, it was a perfect weekend getaway. We were up early and spent the days walking the coastal paths and on nearby beaches. My partner and I had the most gorgeous experience staying in the Roundhouse Hut. The accommodation was clean, warm and beyond welcoming, with a little welcome package waiting for us when we arrived. We stayed here for our honeymoon. The Just married banner and bottle of wine and petals on the bed was a lovely touch on arrival. Beautiful little cabin, fully equipped with everything needed for a holiday. Perfectly located in the middle of Cornwall. Sat in a peaceful little village with a nice local pub with delicious food. The Roundhut is located in a very quaint village with a great pub. The hut itself was very well provisioned and the log burner is very effective. The hot-tub area has been well thought out and a great addition to the facility.

A lovely quiet hideaway with a secluded relaxing hot tub.The Shepherd hut is compact & very well equipped. A huge comfy bed. Owners have excellent attention to detail & added touch of a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits coffee etc on arrival. Amble outside space to BBQ & sit outside. A great week chilling out!

Clean, well kept and looked after by the owners. Loved the hot tub which was under cover so still good to use when it rained! The outdoor fridge for drinks was also a nice extra, and the hut was lovely and cosy! Awesome place for couples to go to for a a getaway!

Lovely shepherds hut in a beautiful tranquil spot away from the madness of daily life. Milk in fridge for a welcome cuppa on arrival plus other goodies. Super comfy bed, great log burner and hot tub. Outdoor fridge, lighting and smart speaker for chilling in the hot tub after days out. Perfect location for exploring Cornwall.

Had the best few days away here, location is brilliant theres so many places to visit and the facilities in the hut were great. The trip was for my partners birthday and the owners were more than happy to decorate the hut for our arrival! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful stay, everything you need is there. Hot tub is fantastic. Log burner sets the perfect cozy atmosphere. And the little touches by the owners are lovely. Perfect little getaway.
