We had a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the picturesque Stables Cottage, which is set in beautiful countryside with far reaching views. The property was lovely and the owner gave us the opportunity to spend some time walking the land. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to do this but we hope to return and take up that offer. The sleeping and relaxing areas were so comfortable and was in such a quiet spot. Well worth the money and drive to get there.

This is a great little property with pretty much everything you might need for a lovely stay away. The hosts are super friendly and responsive. You are free to wander the gardens and the estate (which is extensive) with the chance of bumping into Red Deer. There are two good pubs in Dolton which is walkable or a very short drive.

This was the most delightful property that we have ever stayed at. The owners were very generous in letting us wander anywhere on their most beautiful grounds - seeing wild red deer and an incredible white stag was an absolute privilege. We would recommend this property to everyone that enjoys peace and tranquillity and nature at its best.

A 20 minute walk will take you to Dolton village which has 2 pub's, butchers and a shop, The Ram's Head Inn is the better of the two. Good pubs are important to us - and here we had two great and contrasting choices: food in both was excellent. Pat was so welcoming, and encouraged us to enjoy the beautiful grounds.
