Located by the sleepy and quaint village of Wold Newton, with stunning countryside and scenery Gardeners Loft is in a beautiful peaceful setting yet just a short stroll down to the village and all its amenities. Situated on the owner’s 200-acre working farm you are surrounded by gentle rolling hills and valleys, perfect for those long countryside walks. Spot the wildlife from boxing hares to barn owls swooping down for prey. Bempton Cliffs is great for birdwatchers with thousands of puffins, guillemots and kittiwakes frequenting the area as well as the odd seal lazing on the rocks. The Yorkshire coast with the resorts of Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough are just a short drive away. Filey has a large sweeping beach where you can walk all the way along to Reighton Gap; stop and watch the horses galloping in the sea. The busier resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington are also worth a visit with their bustling working harbours and exciting attractions including a Sea Life Centre and open top bus tours.

The property grounds welcome you down a long private driveway which opens to a beautiful main house and sweeping gravel driveway, park your car and walk up the footpath passing the well kept gardens to your right toward the brick built barn. The entrance is on the ground floor, step into the hallway, hang your coat and leave your shoes by the door. Head upstairs to the first floor and make your way into the open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen makes life easy for the most experienced of cooks featuring a electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, bread maker and Nespresso coffee machine. Enjoy views through the arched windows of the well kept gardens outside and the birds that visit all year round. Sit back on the comfortable sofas, read a book in this peaceful setting in front of the real flame gas fire or watch a film on the Smart TV. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities. The ground floor king-size bedroom has a walk in wet-room and the first floor twin bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this clean, peaceful, comfortable, well-equipped and well-located accommodation. The gardens are particularly gorgeous, and the garden views from our sitting/dining room were fabulous. We appreciated the high-quality welcome-pack, which had in it exactly what we needed.

What a fabulous holiday apartment. It was airy, spacious and very comfortable. Parking was easy. The views to the garden are wonderful, and it was lovely to have access to the farm walks and free rein around the beautiful garden areas. The cottage was lovely, in beautiful surroundings. We loved watching the birds, squirrels and rabbits from the upstairs view point. Comfy beds, and plenty of room in sitting area. A welcome basket of goodies were well received. Easily able to visit the local area. We had a great time, thank you to our hosts.
