Nestled in an elevated position with breath-taking sea loch views over the splendid Loch Goil and Loch Long. The immediate area is a paradise for walking and biking with an array of coastal, country and forest trails to explore. The picture postcard village of Garelochhead is within easy reach with its excellent amenities and water sports to enjoy there is also a train station with direct links to Glasgow. With the picturesque villages of Cove, Clynder, Rosneath, Kilcreggan and Luss within easy reach. There is a regular passenger ferry from Kilcreggan to Gourock with direct train links to the city of Glasgow. Located on the Clyde Sea Loch Trail and the fringes of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, perfect for all outdoor pursuits.

Venturing onto the spacious decked area, you are met with this lovely lodge. Stepping inside this fantastic property with magnificent sea loch and mountain views, into the spacious open-plan accommodation. The lounge area has a large comfy sofa where you can relax after a day out exploring the beautiful local area and perhaps enjoy a great movie on the smart TV, listen to your favourite music on the Blue tooth speaker, or just relax and admire the magnificent views. The bespoke kitchen area is the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric induction two ring hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Next is the lovely dining area with comfy seating, ideal to enjoy romantic meals together with French doors leading directly out to the spacious decked area. Followed by the sleeping area with a lovely comfy double bed where you can relax and enjoy the immediate wonderful sea views. Finally, completing the accommodation is the stylish and spacious shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside to the spacious decked area, enjoying fantastic sea Loch and mountain views towards the splendid Loch Goil and Loch Long . Enjoy al fresco dining and lazing evening stargazing and admire the magnificent views, with comfortable seating area and charcoal BBQ. There is ample off-road parking available just a short stroll away from the lodge.

The cottage is in a superb location with great views across Loch Long. It has it's fenced off deck and is set in a lovely garden. The cottage is really comfortable but with limited catering facilities (but we knew this when we booked). A great base for exploring the area.

The lodge was very cosy. The location & views were fabulous. The hosts were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them & the welcome pack was more than generous. We had the most relaxing week & would definitely recommend this to family & friends.

The property was in such a beautiful location stunning views. Everything you needed was in the lodge for a hassle free holiday. The welcome pack was the best we have had anywhere even treats for our dog. The owner were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

Amazing place, lovely welcome and a gift pack fully of goodies which is a nice treat, lovely walks with the dogs and the views are amazing, especially when you open the door and see the loch plus stars are bright at night Very clean, everything you need for a holiday

a lovely holiday let with a great view over the loch, it was plenty big enough for my wife and i plus the two dogs, and its a good hub to travel from to various locations, everything is avaliable if you wish to self cater (as we did) tv, internet and radio were provided and parking was within the owners property, i would highly recommend it

We spent a wonderful 14 days over Christmas and New Year at Birchbank. Our hosts were absolutely lovely. Less stars for comfort because we found the bed uncomfortable- but its subjective. We needed an oven as we had Christmas & New Year dinner to do - but brought our halogen due to this. The area is beautiful, we had all seasons of the year and didRead morent distract from our enjoyment at all. There are lovely local places to explore and local amenities in Helensburgh. The lodge is in a fantastic spot with stunning views - whatever the weather. It is comfortable and well equipped and the generous welcome pack was a lovely touch. Absolutely lovely chalet-style lodge with the best view in the world! Tastefully and appropriately furnished with most mod cons eg BT Wi-Fi & TV, smart bathroom, induction hob. Very steep path may put off less mobile people.

Birchbank Loch View Lodge is beautiful - cosy, clean with stunning scenery. June and Graham are lovely, thoughtful and friendly hosts and we can't recommend their holiday home enough!! There is so much to see in the area and great places to eat including The Slanj in Tarbet - if you have a dog they are soooo friendly. Inverary Castle is worth the dRead morerive and travelling around the edge of Loch Fyne was simply breathtaking. Fabulous holiday in a stunning location. Hide

We have just spent a very relaxing week at this tranquil location in a very neat and compact lodge. Just like the 3 bears cottageWe loved it and so did our little chocolate cockerpoo, Molly. We loved just getting away from the hustle, cottage was ideal for the 2 of us & our dog. Cottage was immaculate, welcome pack was extremely thoughtful & much appreciated. The view is just stunning. We would love to go back spring/summer time so we could sit outside in the evening and watch the sun going down
