We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The off-grid cottage is cosy and has many lovely features. We particularly liked looking at the book showing the original barn and the work done. Its well equipped with everything we needed. Its isolation makes it totally relaxing. We found some beautiful walks and the dogs could be off lead most of the time.

Jimmys Barn is the best place ever for rest and relaxation, it is very remote so if youre worried about that its not for you. Set in the middle of countryside with amazing views from floor to ceiling windows. The property was very well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Amazing "off grid" holiday to recharge and reset. Jimmy's barn has so much personality and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Having only sheep for neighbors, and able to wander around the field for miles - it's a truly country experience. We'll be back next summer I'm sure.

A great location for wildlife, truly off the beaten track. Exceptionally quiet save for the aircraft practising for the Trooping of the Colour fly past at Brize Norton and that was not a problem. Super helpful hosts, beautiful house full of interesting artefacts.

The beds were comfortable, lovely location, great for walking and dogs. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have some milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival. The separate shower/toilet upstairs had a slight drainage smell but by turning on the extract fan for the bathroom it then disappeared.

A well appointed cottage in a great location. Peaceful even with Brize Norton nearby. Just a comment for electric car owners...the 7Kwh charger at the cottage tripped out easily. We found it better to use the 3Kwh charger we brought with us which gave us enough range following an overnight charge.
