Set within the western reaches of the North Yorkshire Moors, this impressive property is located on the edge of the pretty village of Hovingham, which features several pubs, a shop and a tearoom. Don your walking boots and navigate the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are plenty of places to visit which cater for everyone, including Flamingo Land resort and zoo, Castle Howard is a mere 5 miles away home to a historic stately home, play area, trails, lake and café, or venture into the city of York to enjoy some retail therapy, a plethora or eateries or explore the Minster and the variety of museums. 

This luxurious holiday home is spacious and light-filled, framed by high ceilings and finished with stylish decor. Overall it is a contemporary haven, but rustic details such as wooden beams and exposed brickwork hint of the property's rustic former life. Entering into the property, the formal dining room offers a social space with large wooden table and gas flame effect fire. The spacious dining kitchen also offers a traditional feel, featuring everything you need to prepare hearty farmhouse-style meals, Range cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge freezer, it's the perfect place to enjoy time gathered together. Retire to the lounge with a nightcap in hand, embracing the warmth of the open fire and watch a film on the Smart television, including Netflix. Each bedroom is on the ground floor and is presented beautifully with sumptuous beds and an en-suite. One of the bedrooms is accessed via one step, has a wide entrance and a walk in shower room.  Two of the bedrooms feature a mezzanine level, offering guests a free standing bath with shower head, an excellent hideaway for some well-deserved quiet time. The fourth bedroom benefits from a shower cubicle and bath in the en-suite.

Step outside to discover a private area of an enclosed garden that's ideal for leisurely drinks and an 8 seater hot tub for your exclusive use. Somehow, the photos of this house just don't do justice to the luxury it provides. Stunning house and gardens with fantastic amenities and location and a very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Outstanding week at the Haybarn Slingsby to celebrate a 70th birthday. We were 3 generations plus a dog. The accommodation had everything we could ask for. The games room was a huge hit along with the hot tub. We would definitely return. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Absolutely amazing property. Reality was better than the pictures. We had an amazing break with three generations of our family all over 18years. The property allows more than adequate space for everyone. Every year we hire 8 berth plus holiday lets and this has been the best so far. Excellent leisure facilities on site. This cottage is gorgeous it is amazing and I wouldnt hesitate in recommending it, its perfect for families or a group of friends. location is perfect for walking into surrounding villages.
