The cottage was perfect for what we wanted. Very good quality fixtures and fittings in a lovely cosy cottage. The village itself was a great place to be based for exploring the surrounding area or heading off to the coast.

Cottage was very clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. Our own parking space was good and the little garden excellent for the dog. It is in a beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful but lots of areas close to visit.

A very clean, well equipped, welcoming & cosy warm cottage in a perfect spot for exploring the area or a relaxing break way. The welcome pack waiting for us was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs. The log burner was nice to light in the evening. Will certainly recommend the cottage to friends.

Enjoyed the holiday and everything in the accommodation was as expected..Ideal for the dog and a field nearby after a short walk where he could have a good run. The only disappointment was that we couldn't get WiFi the last four days but maybe that is typical of the location. We do know the area quite well so didn't have to search hard or eating plRead moreaces nearby. No doubt will return. Hide

Great place for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and coast. Excellent facilities and really enjoyed our short stay. The Royal Oak in Gillamoor village was a great pub and the food was excellent. We will definitely book here again.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage which is very well equipped. Nice welcome pack for humans and dogs which went down well. It was nice to stay somewhere where we didn't have to drive far for lovely walks and excellent country pubs. Plenty of good shops in the local towns and villages, would definitely go back.
