This charming property has character and style in abundance and is ideally situated for lovers of outdoor pursuits. Located in the heart of the village of Sway with the New Forest National Park and coast on your doorstep, you’re sure to enjoy exploring the many walking and cycling routes leading from the cottage. The village has a good choice of local amenities, or, take a trip to nearby Lymington with its strong maritime heritage, cobbled streets and pretty harbour, you can while away an afternoon browsing the shops or relax with a drink in one of the popular cafes. For more of an adventure, why not take the ferry to the Isle of Wight or try your hand at fishing.

A path leads from the parking area to the main entrance of this semi-detached property. Just inside the door is a separate WC, which you pass before you step up into the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is bathed in natural light and is furnished and equipped with the utmost care to ensure all of your comforts are considered. The contemporary kitchen area is very well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a juicer. There is a comfortable dining area for all the family with Smart TV and a useful utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, dog wash for little muddy paws and space to leave boots. Two steps down bring you into the lounge area, where you can warm yourself beside the wood burner with Smart TV , making it the ideal place to relax in one of the 4 armchairs. The first basket of logs are provided for the wood burner. Rising from this room is a staircase leading to an enticing king-size bedroom, overlooking the garden and with a Smart TV. A door leads to a second landing and the bathroom, which has a shower over bath and WC. Adjacent to here is a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request), with a pretty feature only fireplace, Smart TV and use of the bathroom, this charming room is sure to ensure a good night’s sleep.

Heading outside from the utility room you will find a generous fully enclosed garden with hot tub and furniture. A large lawn and outdoor shower makes this the ideal space for your four-legged friends.  A step down from the lawn leads you onto a paved terrace directly behind the cottage. There is off-road parking for four cars to the front of the cottage.

We have just returned from a short stay at Laurel Bank Cottage, We had a lovely time , cottage is beautiful, we had three small dogs with us that absolutely adored the wonderful fully enclosed garden!!! A quaint cottage in the central part of the New Forest so ideal to get out and about. The village of Sway has its own train station so if you wish to go further afield great. The cottage its self has a wonderful private garden and a hot tub, all well maintained. Anyone booking this cottage will not be disappointed. The owners have thought of everything, including a lovely hot tub. Having two fridges was particularly useful. I do not hesitate in giving this cottage a five star rating.

The location in a small housing estate in Sway was great with easy access to the Forrest, coast and the bus goes into Lymington. The rear garden was very private with an excellent hot tub which was immaculate. Great location, amenities very good, however the edges need polishing to make this an A1 property sadly. The lounge area felt it was for singles rather than couples, no sofa. The patio surrounding buildings were very tired and needed paint, the table had glass at some point I think. All fixable at minimal cost. Front door must be locked with the keRead morey, lifting the handle inside is not sufficient. And the breakfast bar looks great but is totally impracticable sadly, try standing a glass on it lol! This cottage was quite expensive for a week, and although a very nice building, was let down in several areas. Firstly, there had been a blind in the bathroom, but this had been removed, leaving big holes in the wall. A replacement would enhance privacy. We didnt think that the chairs in the lounge area were comfortable and were probably coming to Read morethe end of their life. The walls and paintwork needed attention. Looking shabby. Cottage was in an excellent location and loved the fact that you could pop to the butchers and we also used the Deli several times during our visit to eat in and take away and the quality of the food was excellent too.

Fabulous little cottage which was perfect for my wife and I and two labs. Really well equipped and the garden is lovely and total dog-proofed! Hot tub was a real treat. Two pubs in the village which are only 5-10 mins walk and served very good food. All in all a super property in a great location.

Very well equipped cottage, but we didn't find all the appliance instruction manuals until later in the holiday. Very comfortable, but many steps and levels within the living accomodation, so you need to be agile if getting up at night! Sweet fully enclosed garden, ideal for our dog. Fabulous cottage in a stunning location. The enclosed rear garden is perfect for dogs and the hot tub is amazing. ! Sway village has lots to offer; the deli, butchers and Co op in easy walking distance and good pubs. Very easy to walk to the forests and beaches easy to drive to. I would definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful cottage with great facilities is in the perfect location for walks in the new forest and for the beach! There are also 2 pubs nearby that do good food and a local food store. We made use of the hot tub, a great bonus to have and towels were even provided for this! My husband and I plus our two dogs stayed for a weeks holiday. We enjoyed the location. The garden is the highlight. Totally secure and large enough for the dogs to run around. The bed was very comfortable. Cute kitchen. The location made it very easy to reach places we wanted to go. It was quiet and very relaxing.

This is a really great cottage, good location - handy for shops and pubs and lovely walks. It is the best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in - literally anything you need. Perfect having the dog washing area. Garden and hot tub fab. There is nothing I can fault - will be back!

Great location within the New Forest with easy access to the coast and forest. Comfortable combined kitchen/living room/diner with wood fire and large garden, perfect for dogs. There's a well stocked co-op less than ten minutes walk and the local butcher was fantastic. Also thoroughly recommend the hare & hounds pub.
