A perfect position to visit an array of places for all ages and tastes. Located just two miles from the village of Wedmore which lies between the Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills and has a variety of restaurants and a delicatessen. You will be within easy driving distance of the city of Bristol offering extensive shopping facilities, theatres, cinemas, bars and restaurants. The historic city of Bath has much to discover with cultural entertainment including museums and theatres. Close to Wells, with its famous cathedral and shopping area and Burnham-on-Sea with its golden sandy beaches and seaside shops and restaurants, with Cheddar and its famous Gorge to the North.

This first-floor apartment is approached by external wooden steps with a small balcony at the top which enjoys views over the courtyard, orchard and beyond. On entering this converted stone apartment guests are greeted with a bright and tasteful studio-style apartment with a kitchen/diner and separate bedroom/lounge area, with windows flooding both rooms with natural light and boasting countryside views. The bedroom area comfortably accommodates a kingsize bed and leading from here is a tasteful lounge area where you can relax with your favourite book in front of the wood-burner, or take time to watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. A door leads to the kitchen/diner area revealing a perfect room for cooking some delicious treats after a long walk in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The kitchen area is well-equipped and has an electric oven and hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and DAB radio. From here there is a separate utility room with washing machine, a perfect place to store muddy boots and hang coats. This leads on to the shower room with shower and WC.

Venturing outside from the main door in the kitchen/diner you will find yourself on the small balcony with outside seating and views over the courtyard, orchard and surrounding countryside and further shared lawn areas with seating. It is a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. There is always a secluded spot to enjoy some alfresco dining being set in a couple of acres with a mature orchard leading down to a stream, which you are very welcome to use and explore.

Clean, cosy, well equipped cottage in a scenic and peaceful location. Friendly, attentive and helpful host. Welcoming arrival as lights and heating had been put on for us. Also a gift of cider and biscuits awaited us. We enjoyed our 4 day stay.

A lovely, spacious, well equipped holiday property. The directions to the property were clear and accurate. The small outside sitting area was a real sun trap in the mornings overlooking the courtyard and orchard, and later in the day the beautiful orchard is only a stones throw away. It wouldnt be suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to Read morethe outside staircase. Overall a peaceful and quiet setting with adequate parking. Hide
